NAVIGATING DRY JANUARY WITH FLAVOR: EMBRACING THE NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE BOOM
As we gear up for another Dry January, it's noteworthy that 94% of non-alcoholic consumers are still opting for beverage alcohol offerings, resulting in increased spending on total alcohol.
Exciting news for the non-alcoholic beverage industry! According to insights shared by Marcos Salazar, CEO of the Adult Non-Alcoholic Beverage Association (ANBA), the non-alcoholic (NA) category is experiencing a significant boost. During the ANBA's recent webinar, Salazar revealed that the NA category has achieved its largest year of absolute dollar growth in five years. In the rolling 52-week period ending July 29, NIQ-tracked scan data indicated a remarkable $510 million in sales, representing a substantial year-over-year growth of $121.2 million (+31.2%). Salazar highlighted that the non-alcoholic category's share of total alcohol looks to remain heightened throughout January 2024.
This data, sourced from Brewbound, underscores the evolving preferences of consumers and the expanding market for non-alcoholic alternatives. As we continue to witness this positive trend, it's clear that the demand for non-alcoholic options is not only enduring but flourishing.
At Superior Beverage Group, we're thrilled to contribute to this movement with a diverse portfolio of NA offerings, including Brewdog AF, Guinness 0.0, Heineken 0.0, Fre Wines, Blue Moon NA, and many more. As we anticipate the growing trend during Dry January, we invite you to explore our impressive range of non-alcoholic options.
Cheers to a vibrant and refreshing start to the year!
