BuzzBallz Continues to Shake Up the RTD Category
Strong growth and consumer demand are keeping the brand at the center of the premixed cocktail boom
The ready-to-drink cocktail category continues to surge, and BuzzBallz is leading the charge. According to Brewbound’s article, “BuzzBallz Leads the Way in Premixed Cocktails; Segment +39.8%, to $2.74B in L52Wks,” the Sazerac-owned brand grew dollar sales by an impressive 65.6% to more than $569 million in tracked off-premise sales over the latest 52 weeks.
The broader premixed cocktail segment also grew, but BuzzBallz continues to stand out from the pack. The high-ABV spherical cocktail brand now holds more than 20% of the category’s dollar share, widening the gap between itself and competitors by nearly $257 million. Its bold flavors, recognizable packaging, and strong consumer demand have helped cement BuzzBallz as a dominant force in the RTD space.
