Cheers to the Winners: Celebrating the 2026 World Beer Cup Champions
The best beers in the world were recognized at the 2026 World Beer Cup, one of the brewing industry's most prestigious competitions. Hosted by the Brewers Association, the global event welcomed entries from breweries across 50 countries and continues to be known as the "Olympics of Beer Competitions." As shared during this year's Craft Brewers Conference, the competition celebrates the innovation, craftsmanship, and quality that continue to shape the future of brewing.
We're especially excited that three breweries SBG proudly partners with brought home awards this year. Kirin Light earned Gold in the International Light Lager category. Uncle from Rhinegeist Innovation Brewery took home Silver in the English Mild or Bitter category, Death or Glory from Samuel Adams won Bronze in the Old Ale, Strong Ale, or Aged Beer catergory, and Yuzu Lager from Market Garden Craft Brewery won Gold in the Fruit Beer category. These honors reflect the dedication and creativity behind every pint.
At SBG, we're proud to work alongside brewery partners who continue to raise the bar for craft beer. Congratulations to Kirin, Rhinegeist, and Market Garden on these incredible achievements. If you haven't had the chance to try these award-winning beers yet, there's never been a better time. Cheers to world-class brewing and the partnerships that make it possible!
