Market Garden launching Columbus distribution
COLUMBUS, OH - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (November 1, 2016) - Superior Beverage Group will begin distributing Cleveland’s Market Garden Brewery in Central Ohio beginning this week.
The Ohio City-based brewery opened in 2011 next to the historic West Side Market and opened a nearby 35,000 square foot production brewery earlier this year, which allows them to expand their distribution footprint. Superior had already been distributing Market Garden in Northeast Ohio.
The brewery has received many accolades, including a bronze medal at the Great American Beer Festival for their Progress Pilsner.
“It's humbling to win awards, but the most gratifying win is our customers' satisfaction —
that they love our beer and keep some fresh in their fridge.” said Mike Foran, co-founder of Market Garden Brewery. “We look forward to Superior Beverage getting the people of the Columbus area that fresh beer beginning this week.”
The following Market Garden beers will be available in Columbus this year:
Prosperity Wheat: A Bavarian-style hefeweizen with banana and clove notes
Citramax: A big, juicy West Coast-style IPA dry hopped with organic Citra
Festivus: Smooth, spicy and wholesomely malty with an elegant finish thanks to caramelized wort and a bit of brown sugar, nutmeg and ginger
Progress: GABF award-winning German-style Pilsner inspired by the Pilsners of the Rhine region
Kegs of Prosperity and Festivus are available now for retailers to purchase through Superior Beverage Group. Citramax and Progress will be available in the next few weeks. Bottles and additional beers from Market Garden will be distributed to the Columbus area in early 2017.
